Explore the Valley of the Sun

The city of Phoenix has many awards and accolades under its belt. From the Carl Bertelsmann Award for “Best-Run City Government in the World,” to being rated one of the “Top Five Cities in America for Small Businesses” by the National Federation of Independent Business. Suffice to say, residents grow and thrive here in the Valley of the Sun, and many would never leave.

What to Love

  • A diverse, expanding community that encourages cultural expression

  • Walkable neighborhoods with lively community spaces

  • Easy access to nature despite living in an urban epicenter

Local Lifestyle

Because Phoenix is a larger city, with a population of over 4 million, there is a wide array of lifestyles. Those who have families may prefer to go to the gym before work and have laid-back dinners downtown on the weekends. While young professionals and college students may seek more entertainment, and go hiking with friends during their free time. Every kind of person imaginable calls this city home, and that is part of what makes Phoenix so magnificent.

Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping

Phoenix boasts several restaurants owned by James Beard Award winners, including Binkley’s, Pizzeria Bianco, and Wrigley Mansion. And, if the Wrigley name is familiar, it’s because the mansion was constructed by the chewing gum magnate himself William Wrigley. While there is no gourmet gum on the menu, you will find eclectic menus at both Geordie’s and Christopher’s restaurants inside the mansion.

There are so many choices for quality entertainment in Phoenix, it’s near-impossible to narrow it down to just a few! However, for live music, Chase Field and Footprint Center are where you will catch big names like Elton John and Dua Lipa. For smaller, more local acts, The Copper Blues Rock Pub and Last Exit Live are a couple of noteworthy clubs. And, of course, you can’t miss a performance by The Phoenix Symphony Orchestra.

Arguably, the best place to shop in all of Phoenix is Biltmore Fashion Park. The Clotherie offers a curated collection of fine luxury fashion for men. For both men and women, there’s Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue, and My Sister’s Closet. Downtown Phoenix also has quality, high-end boutiques with exceptional, personalized service. Loading Urban Boutique, Phoenix General, and Now Or Never are just a few to name.

Things to Do

Phoenix is growing every day, and with that growth comes more places to gather and participate in activities. Civic Space Park is a wonderful place to catch a movie with the family. For an immersive experience in nature, discover the Desert Botanical Garden and its over 50,000 vibrant desert plants. Art aficionados will want to plan a trip to the Heard Museum, a celebratory collection of native artworks.
