Arcadia

Picturesque neighborhoods with a quiet and serene vibe.

Welcome to Arcadia

Phoenix’s Hidden Gem

Arcadia & Arcadia Lite, which lie between Old Town Scottsdale and the Biltmore, are picturesque neighborhoods with a quiet and serene vibe. It is mostly residential, and a majority of Arcadia’s residents drive to neighboring towns for their entertainment and daily activities. However, there are some wonderful places and features that are exclusive to Arcadia.

What to Love

  • Lush landscapes, with orange and date groves strewn about
  • A quiet respite from bustling city life
  • Stunning architecture — Ranch, Pueblo, and Revival styles line the streets

Local Lifestyle

If one were to summarize Arcadia’s lifestyle in three words, they would say: hip, charming, and active. The essentials are readily accessible to residents and there are some hot spots in the general vicinity, making this community the perfect blend between uptempo and relaxing.

Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping

There are some truly outstanding dining options in the Arcadia area, especially if you do not feel like driving into the city center. If you are craving a fresh, farm-to-table meal, Chelsea’s Kitchen offers hearty options for brunch, lunch, and dinner. For a date night, try The Henry or Beckett’s Table for elevated comfort food and thirst-quenching cocktails.

The live music scene in Arcadia is small, but worth a listen. Some favorite venues include The Vig, The Mix Up Bar at the Royal Palms Resort, and The Vintage Arcadia. The Vintage Arcadia is a particularly great place, as it is not only a live music venue, but a restaurant, bar, and home decor shop. It was developed as a gathering place for the neighborhood to connect, shop, dine, and relax.

Great shopping doesn’t end at The Vintage. For on-trend furnishings and home decor, Arcadia Public Market never disappoints. For luxury gifts and more, Stephanie’s is a beautifully curated boutique selling a wide range of brands like Golden Goose and Fleur Du Mal. And, for minimalistic, Western-inspired style — for the wardrobe and home — check out The Lifestyled Co. They also offer interior design services to homeowners.

Things to Do

It is widely known among Arcadians that this neighborhood has some of the best hiking in Arizona. Whether you are climbing up Camelback Mountain or trekking the Echo Canyon Trail, you are sure to love the view. And of course, there are lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Cool off after a day in the Arizona heat with a little bit of ice skating at AZ Ice Arcadia.

Schools

There are a few, quality educational institutions to choose from if you reside in the Arcadia neighborhood.

  • The Hills School, PreK; A private school that draws from the curriculum of Italy’s famous Reggio Emilia schools, which have been deemed the “Best Preschools in the World.”
